MC Hammer To Headline 1990 Reds Celebration

 

Be a part of a special celebration of the 1990 World Series champion Reds and catch hip hop pioneer MC Hammer live at Great American Ball Park all in one memorable night! Its all going down TONIGHT Friday, July 16th at 7:10pm.

Eric Davis, Chris Sabo, Billy Hatcher and other members of the 1990 wire-to-wire champs will be in attendance, with a special tribute on the field after the game. During this ceremony, the video board will feature highlights from the 1990 World Series run, a message from Manager Lou Piniella and more.

Plus, fans will have the chance to catch two live performances from MC Hammer, whose song “U Can’t Touch This” served as the unofficial anthem for the 1990 Reds and blared throughout the clubhouse after victories. Hammer will perform before the game from the right-field porch, then will perform on the field near second base after the post-game 1990 tribute.
