Award-winning actress, producer, singer and entrepreneur Keke Palmer will headline Black Tech Week 2025 as the keynote speaker, organizers announced Wednesday morning. The event returns to Cincinnati from July 14–16, bringing together thousands of tech professionals, creatives, founders, and investors for three days of networking, innovation, and community.

“We are beyond excited to welcome Keke Palmer as our keynote speaker,” said Candice Matthews Brackeen, founder and CEO of the Lightship Foundation, the organization behind Black Tech Week. “Her career, advocacy, and entrepreneurial spirit align perfectly with our mission to celebrate our incredible community of founders in technology, media, and beyond.”

The announcement comes on the heels of Palmer’s latest wins— including the success of her comedy One of Them Days, which hit No. 1 in the U.S., and her best-selling book Master of Me: The Secret to Controlling Your Narrative. She also continues to host her popular podcast Baby, This is Keke Palmer.
