The Women’s Connection is looking for volunteers!
The Women’s Connection provides support for change by educating, empowering, and enriching women and girls, is seeking flexible, fun, and energetic volunteers for childcare opportunities on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings from 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm. Volunteers will “connect” kids with fun activities while their mothers attend various support groups and educational and enrichment activities. Children range in age from infancy to 12 years.
The center is also always looking for volunteers to provide office support by answering the phones, greeting participants who come to the center, faxing, and copying. Basic computer knowledge is helpful, but not required. Assistance is needed Monday through Friday from 9:00 am 5:00 pm. Office support volunteer opportunities are flexible and available on a rotating schedule.
Regardless of the amount of time you have to give, you will be making a huge difference in the lives of the women that participate in our support groups and educational and enrichment programs. For more information on volunteer opportunities please contact Ann Hunt at (513) 471-4673 ext. 19.
